Test de Connaissance du Français (TCF)The French level test organised at the UPPA for the DAP (Demande d'Admission Préalable en L1)

The 'Test de Connaissance du Français' (TCF) is an exam organised by the UPPA as part of the Application for Preliminary Admission for the first year of licence (DAP or Demande d'Admission Préalable en Licence 1ère année).

Students from non-French-speaking countries who have never enrolled at a French university and wish to study their licence in France without a previously obtained DELF B2 or DALF must take the 'TCF pour la DAP' https://www.france-education-international.fr/tcf-dap

Every year, the UPPA organises this test on the campus of Pau for students from non-French-speaking countries who are resident in France. 


Details of the 2021 call


Date and location of the test

    Thursday 4th February 2021 (classroom yet to be announced)

    in the IEFE building at the UPPA.



Online, from the 1st November 2020 until the 17th January 2021 (after this date, access to online registration will be disabled) :


Price : 73 Euros


Candidates can choose between two payment modalities:

Online : by card (VISA or MASTERCARD). The registration confirmation can be printed after the transaction is completed.

By mail : by sending a cheque for 73 euros to France Éducation international before the 17th January 2021 to the following address : 

  • France Éducation international - TCF - DAP inscription - 1 avenue Léon-Journault - 92318 Sèvres cedex

The cheque must be addressed to ‘Agent comptable de France Éducation international’ and it must include the confirmation of enrolment, indicating the candidate's surname, first name and the institution organising the ‘TCF pour la DAP’. The payment will be replied with a confirmation e-mail.
