Renewal of the Dual Degree Program in Economics and Business Administration and Strengthening of Cooperation Between UPPA and the University of Zaragoza

The University of Pau and the Pays de l’Adour (UPPA) today welcomed a delegation from the University of Zaragoza, consisting of its rector, Rosa María Bolea Bailo, as well as its current and former vice presidents for internationalization and cooperation, Sergio Salinas Alcega and Francisco Beltrán Lloris.

This visit builds on a long-standing partnership between the two institutions and reflects the sustained momentum of their academic and scientific cooperation.

The focal point of this meeting—the signing of the renewal of the dual degree program in economics and management—confirms the strong ties between UPPA and the University of Zaragoza. A Work Group Dedicated to Bilateral Cooperation

Following the signing ceremony, a bilateral working session provided an opportunity to explore several strategic areas of cooperation between the two institutions in greater depth.

Discussions focused in particular on:

  • a review of actions undertaken since the bilateral meeting in October 2025;
  • the proposed Erasmus Mundus EDU-RISE joint master’s program, coordinated by UPPA;
  • the progress of bilateral programs and the European university alliance UNITA, including dual degrees and joint thesis supervision;
  • prospects for expanded cooperation, particularly with international partners such as the University of Quebec, with a view to opening up and complementing university networks.
